Unit description: A very small unit consisting entirely of flotation sample #2, which is >4mm, 100% sorted, and completely recorded. Most of this unit is sheep-sized, with a little bit from large mammal. There is no diagnostic bone from this sample, only scrap. This is mostly indeterminate or long bone fragments, although there are a few cranial fragments and one tooth fragment. Almost 50% of the bone is burnt, mostly at low temperature. There is no digestion or gnawing. Much of the bone looks fairly weathered, although not all of it. it is not very coherent, less so than 4898, consisting of bone with varied surface conditions: some are trampled, some aren't. It is possibly from a "sterile fill" or floor unit with other bits mixed in. Last number=14Figurine Records: No GroundStone Records: No Heavy Residue Records: No Microfaunal Records: No
