Unit description: Floor packing. Several flotation samples have been taken from that unit (Sample numbers: 95, 96, 97, 98, 100, 102, 104, 105). Distribution of trampled and rolled, burned fragments can be observed within different samples in this unit. Different weathering stages exist within the samples. Small mammal fragments can be seen in some samples (sample# 95, 105). Most of the samples have rib fragments. And there is a tooth fragment in sample 102. Later found more samples (99, 101, and 103), >4mm flotation 100% sorted, and recorded only as diagnostics and flot frags. Sample 99 is smallish and has a mix of sheep-size and large mammal scrap, with one epiphysis from a sheep distal tibia. There is a little bit of burning and digestion, and somewhat variable surface condition, tending to somewhat worn. Sizes range from tiny up to 3 cm. Sample 101 is similar but perhaps with more fresh surfaces. Bizarrely, it also has an unfused distal tibia epiphysis, but from a different individual and it is digested. Sample 103 is a little larger and largely composed of grungy rolled bits. Last number = 43Figurine Records: Yes
