Discussion: Bin floors.
It appears that after the various ovens associated with the platform in the north east corner of space 170 had gone out of use they smoothed rthe surface of it all with this white plaster layer. This seems to have happened immediately prior to the construction of the arms, as the plaster was slightly lipped beneath them.
