Discussion: Very distinctive irregular thin spread of clean clay. Looks deliberately laid, possibly as quasi surface for 'lime burning' (5281). Looks like it was deposited immediately after (5283). 

 

Recognition: distinctive light colour and 'clean' texture

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: moderate charcoal flecks, occasional light flecks
