Discussion: Floor surface debris cleared down to floor surface, steeply slope to south. Debris firmly packed & hard to separate from floor surface which is fairly decayed. Orangish/white deposits found covering central portion of unit (2YR/8/3) - sent as sample #6, "Phytolithes". Several large bones in SW corner of unit (including horn core).

Unit description: X1 is a very weathered piece of antler tine that may have been lying on the floor, although this is not clear from the unit sheet. With it came a human metapodial. These have been recorded. The rest of the unit is sample 2 >4mm flotation 100% sorted. It is a smallish sample of mostly sheep-size fragments ranging up to 3 cm. No diagnostics.
