Unit 6384
Category: layer dug in 2000
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: floor
Data Category Information: none
Dimensions: 0.90 NS x 1.7 EW m
Discussion: S7. Plaster sample was taken from northern area of the area of the platform because the plaster had pieces of red plastered walls on the northern and eastern walls. The unit was excavated in order to remove in the northern area only the 1st floor of the NW platform but in reality it was difficult to accurately separate the different floors in the northern half of the unit. I left a small (mini) baulk in the NW corner as a control area for the removal of the platform floors. I aslo left this small bank so that the floor were the wall ended we further examined after the removal of the floor.
Basically, the excavation proceeded from the white upper floor to the white corner floor ( white on white) which made the definition of the unit extremely difficult and tennous.
