Discussion: This is a narrow layer against N edge of a large Hellenistic pit placed in SE corner of the trench. It was deposited directly on the brown mudbricks, which is probably a construction of a wall running N-S against the western edge of the trench. This layer is a proof that the large pit is getting smaller at the point it reaches the wall.
