Unit 7843
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: layer,midden
Data Category Information: Location: between walls; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: This is another layer in a roof sequence in a strip cut through it. It is considerably homogenous and compact. It is placed directly underneath ashy layer recorded as unit 7844. Considering this is a sloping layer, it is impossible to measure its lowest and highest points. The lowest values for subsequent corners are as follows: NW - 1016.84, SW - 1016.84, NE - 1016.16, SE 1016.09.
Analysis of the strip section indicates that the layer dissapeared in the centarl part. Thus collected material is a mixture of the units and other neighboring layers. Thus, as analysis must be conducted with care.
The unit was also excavated in 2003 but on the W side of the roof. It had then dimensions3.9 x 0.4m and mid x - 982.5 and mid y - 992 and the highest 1017.04. The S3 was taken then.
