Discussion: Unit 8136 is comprised of the burial fill immediately surrounding skeleton 8115. The unit began as we started to remove the skeleton and ended with the excavation of the soil directly under the skeleton. The soil has the same texture and consistency as unit 6693 (general burial fill).. The unit was assigned to this soil as a different unit to reflect its close proximity to the skeleton.
