Discussion: White floors that were the basal boundry of 8108. These are being taken carefully down in stages to reveal their relationship to both the oven (F.646) and the floors that was the basal boundry of unit 8165. Later we took the base of F.758 (which is our floor as well) as a separate unit 8194. This unit consisted of removal of 2-3 layers of (depending on how many were remaining across the unit as it had been previously excavated with a mattock and was a bit uneven. ) of very thin white plaster floors and equally thins layers of packing to set down to the same white floor ove the entire unit. It is now at the same level as F.758 base. The deposits were loose and friable only in the E where the screenwall had been. Elsewhere the floor was easy to follow and continuous.
