Discussion: Looks like midden deposit had been used as mortar. It is a dark and a bit moist thin layer, 0.5-1 cm thick. Lots of salts between bottom brick and unit 8646 taken as separate flotation sample, charcoal abundant.
The west wall of space 201 is the only one in which this midden deposit had been used as mortar. Other walls are on the pattern.
