Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: layer of burnt
Data Category Information: Description: fire spots (non-structured)
Dimensions: 0,88 x 0,66 x 0,15
Discussion: It is a layer of burnt in SE corner of an extension. It composed of 3 mini layers which differed by colour. The first of them was light coloured with majority of orange which was the cause of recognition the unit. Underneath there was observed tiny and fragmented layer of ashy mating and the third layer was a black burnt. All three of them were caused by a high temperature and are a part of big burnt layer visible also in S section of the main trench.
In the E boundary of the unit 2 destroyed mudbricks (unit 8935) were found. The unit 8936 by itself was cut by a large pit (which could be observed in W section of the main trench), to which e.g. Units 8970, 8971, 8953 belong. The other part of this pit was excavated in season 2001 (on this level it was unit 7449).
