Unexcavated in 2004.
Interpretation so far: bench or raised platform, truncated on west side. Layers of plaster visible on the feature indicate several phases, the first of which is smaller and further south. This phase is built up against the plaster of the south wall (F 1660). Later the feature was extended northwards, and a lip built up against the east wall (see sketch; photo). Unclear relationship with floor 1663 - due to unfinished excavation.
Further interpretation warrants further excavation.

N-S platform in very SE corner o building. As such probably associated with the ladder. The p;latform incorporates earlier bench F1653. |
