Unit 10685
Category: layer dug in 2004
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: platform layer
Data Category Information: Location: feature; Description: pedestal/podium/plinth; Material: occupation; Deposition: multiple
Discussion: what I originally thought was one layer developed into 2 or 3, virtually indistuingishable form each other/ Platform seems ot be developing into layers like the floor, not like a platform created and replastered occasionally. A clear plaster face remains agaisnt the bench, but are many floors revelaed to southern end. Pillaster appears to be freed up now (later proved to be wrong). Is severe slumping in corners and aroud the South edge, where it dips dramatically in the corners. While southern end is also lower than the north end. Later related to 11200, plaster layer on platform edge
