Discussion: Possibly top fill of cut or within re-c - unclear. The cut is in the NE corner of space 108, abutting and respecting both walls although slightly undercutting at the east. This fill contains large amounts of plaster, some red- painted, and some clinging to the east edge of the cut as though possibly the remains of a red-painted basin forming a re-cut of a lower pit. This is unclear - I suspect re-cut, Shahina doesn't. So, this is treated as a separate fill, although may be simply upper fill of cut (1080). No separate re-cut for this fill has been recorded. 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: Very hot and very stressful 

Consistency: loose (weak) 

Colour: 10YR 4/3 - 4/4 bron - dark yellowish brown 

Texture: silty clay 

Bedding: Mixed - sandy matrix with plaster layers and chunks 

Inclusions: plaster? - possible inclusions or a basal red painted lining (?) as incluson. 30% 50mm > 2cm 

Post-depositional Features: slumped 

Basal Boundary: claer regular sedimentological boundary
