Description: dark grey layer recognised around white plastered areas (raised plasterings) FAST TRACK

Discussion: Beginning with the raised plaster areas, I travelled around these areas to define the limits of the plaster areaswhich were filling of grey clay. In the NW corner of the building and within a slight niche on the wall was an area which we interpreted as either post retrieval pits or storage areas. This same niche like hole had within the wall was also seen in the NE corner of the wall, along the east wall.
A well defined line of plaster (see plan 004/900) appears to be the limit of a pltform that was possibly built against the northern side of the internal wall, as the plaster of the possible platform edge runs along the internal wall.
