Unit 10999
Category: Layer dug in 2004
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: infill of a scoop(?),shallow concavity
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: scoop
Discussion: It is an infill of a small depression within a floor (unit 10988) in north-west corner of an extension. The cut of this depression was recorded as unit 10977 and together formed a feature 1188.
In season 2005, under the floor 10988, within a layer 11579, a small posthole was discovered (units 11584 infill, 11585 cut, building up a feature 1188). It is possible then, that this depression (feature 1187) as associated with feature 1188and was a result of slipping down of a fragment of the floor 1098 over the posthole - feature 1188.
