Discussion: Irregular cut, curved slightly, also sides and base vary in steepness, contours etc. NW end slightly shallower slope ,also top of cut curves to NW here. Base easy to follow, very clear but undulates and is disturbed by animal burrows.
Cut wasn't really properly defined until down to level of platform F1525, but suspected earlier as layers above had similar loose patches in correct locations. Also part of wall F1523 shows truncation to surface. Initially thought possible this was a grave however, no body and so irregular, more likely a pit, possibly an attempt to retrieve something or alternatively a large animal burrow. 

Recognition: seen cutting through platform F1525, but probably cut from higher level 

Execution: trowel 

Condition: dry 

Shape: irregular elongated, slightly curved oval,/ curvilinear 

Sides: steep concave, undercut in places 

Base Break: moderate concave 

Base: irregular 

Orientation: NW/SE
