Discussion: This is a row of five mud bricks of irregular shape. They appear to be constructed deliberatly and remind burial superstructure known from numerous Byzantine burials excavated in the previous seasons. However no skeleton has been found in a pit adjacent to the brick row (feature 1193). Stratigraphic relation between this unit and the pit from its north side remains unclear. Size of the bricks is as follows: 30 x 30 x 16 to 30 x 20 x 16. Bricks from east parts are truncated by the later cuts.
