Area: South
Interpretive Categories: platform construction layer
Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: raised area (platform); Material: re-used brick&mortar; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: Initially thought this would be base layer of entire platform, but it gave way to mudbrick external wall, and messy interior fill. Also another skim to north identified, to be removed. Came down to a layer of similar colour, but packed full of burnt clay lumps. Not entirely separate and clear division, nmore merging one into another. Peeled off the mud bricks nicely though
