Unit 11945
Category: Layer dug in 2005
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: bin fill
Data Category Information: Location: feature; Description: bin; Deposition: homogeneous
Dimensions: 0.4 (NS) x 0.6 (EW)
Description: fill near the wall
Discussion: Bin fill.
One of the two identical fill surrounded b walls and plaster. The wall is much more clear at the west side.
On the other hand, the consistency is different when compared to the adjacent fill (11946). It is much more firm than the other unit, which can explain the existence of the wall. The unit is much more rich in terms of animal bones.
The inside plasters are badly preserved so that it was hard to find the bottom of the fill. Later on it was understood that most of the bottom plaster was destroyed (by human or nature).
Some small human bones (might be belonging to a baby) are found under the plaster level; and as an initial look there seems to be cut for the burial. Original Total Deposit Volume entered as 0 altered by system check 30/08/09
