Unit 12123
Category: Skeleton dug in 2005
Area: North
Data Category Information: none
Dimensions: 1m EW x 0.35m NS x .30m deep
Discussion: Bones seemed to be in excellent condition although some were missing. Most were entirely whole. Burial's orientation and cut location (within two neolithic walls, beside 2 late pits/ late building foundation) make it highly likely that individual was Byzantine. Few finds associated with grave fill. Significant rodent disturbance. Some wood was also found in the grave fill.

Other comments: Late infant burial on right side oriented E-W with head to west. Legs slightly flexed on top of one another. Heavy rodent activity moved several bones into adjacent rodent hole not planned with this unit.
Surface Modifications: Clearly defined cut. Burial is located in cut in 2 parallel walls and fill is easily distingushable from mudbrick, plaster, etc. Texture, color, and inclusion change.
