Unit 12439
Category: Layer dug in 2006
Area: IST
Interpretive Categories: fill of basin
Data Category Information: none
Discussion: there is an area which's soil is softer than its around. We noticed its difference by consistency and also by colour. Upper level was soft. We took some samples for floatation. Under it the soil was stronger and it looks like burnt.
In the box (?) there is a clay object which looks like an unbaked pottery. Around of it there is a white line. The clay object is standing on a kerpiç-like unit.
We removed all the fill and reached to the floor plaster. Just on this plaster there was burnt fragments of organic materials. We took phytolith samples from this burnt pieces.
