Discussion: This is a main part of floor in eastern room of Building 62. It appears to have the same character as floor in western, recorded as unit 13043. The Building space was divided into two rooms by centrally placed paqrtition wall of NE alignment (u. 13026) and its EW extension (u. 13025).
Due to a considerable size and heterogenous nature of the layer in different parts, four archive and four flotation samples were taken. The location of flotation samples is marked on graphics 06/313:
S2 - S part of the floor
S4 - NE corner of unit
S7 - NW section of the floor
S10 - central part of the unit situated S from the hearth (u. 13030).
The floor layer was generally homogenous and had constant thockness. However, flor in NE corner of the Building was thicker.
