Discussion: plaster layer covering pedestal F.1653 and probably originally extending part way up the front of the engaged pillar behind the pedestal. A red stripe was applied to this layer and ran around the base of the pillar, traces of red paint are alos visible along the S facing side of the pedestal.
This layer came down onto floor layer (13682) on platform F.1662 and onto floor layer (13684) on the central floor area. Original Total Deposit Volume entered as 1 altered by system check 30/08/09
