Discussion: Mortared and plastered feature with core of mudbricks, both grey and sandy brown type which are bonded onto wall F.18 and therefore contemporary / equal to it. Original Western extent severely indistinct due to animal burrow damage, but seems to continue at least with 'mortar' deposit some way and 'cut' into floors (1367) though this relationship in far from indubitable. Dry Sieve Information: Unknown if any dry sieve 

 

Execution: Hand pick and trowel 

Consistency: Moderately strong 

Colour: 7.5 YR 5/4 brown 

Texture: Silty clay 

Bedding: Massive 

Inclusions: Charcoal <2% <1cm; phytoliths 5% <1cm 

Post-depositional Features: Animal burrow (through centre - ~20 cm)
