Discussion: Neolithic child's partial burial. Upper body was truncated during the interment of the later individual (14441). In situ elements included the unfused pelvic bones, and the right and left legs and feet. Additional elements were found scattered in the grave fill (14429) of the later skeleton (14441). These elements included the unfused sacrum, oternum, patella and fingers. The grave cut was clear in its northern and western edges but it had been truncated in its southern and eastern aspects. The child"s knees were very close to the surface of the floor associated with the cut, suggesting the grave was originally shallow. It is also possible given the position of the legs that the grave was narrow.
