Unit 15236
Category: Layer dug in 2007
Area: TP
Interpretive Categories: rubble
Data Category Information: Location: building; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 3.50 x 0.90 x 0.06
Discussion: This is a layer made of rubble collapsed wall situated in the north-central part of the area excavated in 2007.The rubble is restricted from the south by walls [13591] [15227]. It is long and narrow and is parallel to these walls. It was composed of broken mudbricks mixed with mid-grey, mid-brown silty sand with well visible aggregates charcoals. The layer of silty sand is similar in colour and consistency to midden [15234] placed in the north which is earlier than the unit. The placement of the layer in relation to N walls 13591, 15227, 15225 of Building 72 at the W-E alingment, implies that the unit 15236 arguably contains construction elements of these walls which supposedly fallen down into the adjacent midden [15234].
