Discussion: This burial fill contains Chalcolithic material from the mound probably as a result of digging into the room fill of the mound. The burial was disturbed later as well, where both vertical and horizontal animal burrows were observed in the fill. There was one area to the northeast area of the grave that was a dark gray colour with what appeared to be white phytolithis mixed in as well - this was taken for a sample to see if this may be burnt plant material at the feet of the individual buried here. There was also a late period jug handle and body fragment at the foot of the grave in the southeastern section that is probably a grave good (x1). The other sample taken out of the fill was from the pelvis. There were fish bones in the pelvic outlet - on the sacrum and going under/into the pubic symphyses. Maybe digested?

This unit is the grave fill for F3340 (skel 15346 and cut 15347). The cut defining the fill was largely arbitrary due to the inability to identify the true cut. This unit is just below the topsoil so topsoil was sieved but not floated. The burial was in the west profile of T5 and was highly disturbed and all of the bones were disarticulated. A bird was actively living in the unit.
