Discussion: Mudbrick from within the plastered step in the gap 96/51 joining spaces 107 and 108. This appeared to have been placed in as a block, cut into the "midden" to provide a more solid surface for the step, as it came out leaving a sharp edge in the underlying material on its Eastern and lower surfaces. (ajc)
Incomplete excavation to section edge. According to section this brick is integral with wall 96/57, continuing beyond the 'gap' for 15 cm. I wasn't present during removal, but have sketched in notebook (nsh)
