Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: wall/blocking; Material: pise-like; Deposition: heterogeneous
Dimensions: 4.7 m (E-W), 265 m (N-S), x 0.35 m (thick)
Discussion: Bricky material brackets up the south face of B 44 Foundation (F 1341) also spreading ou to the south creating a levelling Layer. It was unclear wheher the banked up bricks were keyed into wall F 1341. This 'butress' supported the wall to the south possibly to compensate the subsidence caused by building on soft midden material, as well as the downward north to south slope
