Discussion: Mortar in mudbrick wall F.5058, the western wall of space 310.
2012: This unit comprises the layers of mortar in wall F.5058. The surrounding brick material is that of U.16873 and U.17276. In the eastern section of the wall several lines of beige/white mortar were visible that rund irregularlu, often not parallel, slopeing and are disturbed but animal burrwos making them hard to trace. In plan view large patches of mortar can be distinguished between the individual layers of bricks. Sherds and stones were stuck into the mortar. Samples were not taken, but enough material remains,

Bedding: massive
Inclusions: charcoal, stone, animal bone, pottery
Post-depositional Features: animal burrows
Basal Boundary: uneven, follows shape of brick layers
