Discussion: This unit is the mud brick material of wall F.5058. In the southern part beyond buttress F.3301, the material of this unit was overlayed by the same mudbricks belonging to unit 16873, which was unfortunately mixed with later fill. The lower part includes the material over the whole length of the wall. The mudbricks average 80x40x10cm and are placed offset to one another in the double row. Both corners to F.2408 and F.3351 are bonded. Also buttress F.3301 is connected with bricks reaching into the walls. The mudbricks were built immediately on top of the plastered surface U.16999.
