Discussion: TEB 28.07.08:
Mudbrick in mudbrick wall F.2408, the northern wall of space 310.
JMR 23.08.10:
Upper part of wall F. 2408 was taken off on 23.8.10 and some of the mudbrick sent for flotation in order to identify inclusions in the mudbrick. Artefacts that were visible macroscopically include larger fragments of animal bone, pottery, shell and some pieces of burnt plaster.
KTX 2012:
This unit comprises the mud bricks of wall F.2408. Both in the east and west the wall was extended to include the corners to F.2427 and F.5058, respectively. The double row of bricks was placed in an offset manner and both previously mentioned corners are bonded. The courses were also offset, although only two were excavated and the 3rd uppermost quite disturbed. Two further courses were left unexcavated for next season. The brick sizes average 80 x 40 x 10cm.
