Discussion: Unit 16961 is a cluster of clayballs in roomfill u. 16942, being located between f. 3326 and f. 5057. The clayballs are roughly lying on one level, a little roomfill (16942) is seperating them from the surface, they are not lying directly on it. The clayballs all have roughly the same size, around 5 cm in diameter, and all have the same grayish-patchy color. The main concentration of clayballs is in front of the western wall of f. 3326, fewer clayballs are spreading in western direction between the end of the cluster and the plaster installation 15373 is sp. 450 is still quite a lot of space. In the center of the western wall of f. 3326, the cluster is bordered by an ashy spot.
