Discussion: Primary plaster on east facing (dog leg part) wall F.1661. Patchy and flakey though upper portion flakey due to proximity to surface of mound.

As with all the walls the primary plaster seems to be a blocky bedding to create an even surface for subsequent applications of plaster render.

The wall elevation (brick face) is irregular as would be expected.

Colour: off white 

Texture: soft, limey 

Bedding: fine layered and blocky 

Inclusions: none visible 

Post-depositional Features: patchy, delaminated, animal holes
