Discussion: Primary wall plaster on west facing wall F.1657. Patchy, flakey and delaminated. Not as thickly (repeatedly) plastered as larger space, as seems to be pattern in side/smaller/store rooms.

As with all the walls the primary plaster seems to be a blocky bedding to create an even surface for subsequent applications of plaster render.

The wall elevation (brick face) is irregular as would be expected.

Colour: off whilte 

Texture: soft limey 

Bedding: blocky and finely layered 

Inclusions: none visible 

Post-depositional Features: patchy, delaminated, animal holes 

Basal Boundary: clear, constructional
