Discussion: 18381 is plastering found on lower F.5052. It coated the feature in its original outlines, before the upper part of the buttress got recoated and replastered and therefore changed its shape. The original plaster layer 18381 became visible as a line after the upper parts of F.3369 and F.2428 had been removed. It was connected to 16977 and might represent the same plastering event as 18382 on F.3335 and 18380 on F.2428, to which it is physically connected.

Colour: yellowish white 

Texture: marl = sandy clay 

Bedding: massive 

Inclusions: not clear, unexcavated 

Post-depositional Features: none 

Basal Boundary: rounded, connected to 16977
