Discussion: This layer is the plaster facing covering the mudbrick addition to the initial bench F.3456. Very little has survived except the facing along the west side and a portion of the top toward the SE edge
Recognition: Plaster revealed along side of mud-brick addition while exposing bench - top has not survived
Definition: Clear- broken at top by mud-brick, overlies brown clay loam layer
Execution: trowel
Condition: siding (on western side) well-preserved, top broken. Also, it's hot.
Consistency: plaster
Colour: whitish gray
Texture: dense, claylike
Bedding: layered
Inclusions: evidence of red painted plaster along north face broken along top of mudbrick
Post-depositional Features: broken along top of mud brick addition
Basal Boundary: overlies brown clay layer & mud-brick addition
