Discussion: These ribs and scapula? are all that appears to be left of a burial truncated to the North by the grave cut of burial 42 (cut [1958]). These bones may have been associated with the two juvenile skull fragments and other bone fragments that were lifted on the 09/08/97 as loose bones (and hence not planned)
The ends of the ribs were sliced through by cut [1958],and it is therefore possible that some of the fragments from burial 42B were actually residual and derived from burial(s) 38.
A separate bag of bone fragments from below these bones was also taken.
