Unit 19897
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: South
Interpretive Categories: burial fill
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: burial; Deposition: homogeneous
Discussion: The layer is localized in the highest platform in the north-west corner. The unit is characterized by a light brown and a grayish colour and by a massive bedding.
We found a lot of little rings made of shell probably belonging to a burial gift and a lot of bones. This layer covered a lot of concentrations of bones and we exposed in the north-west corner a skeleton belonging to an infant. So, we understood that the skeleton is a primary burial of the cut (U 19880).
The unit was excavated by leaf-trowel.
