Discussion: This cut represents the cut of one of the many shallow pits found at this layer. It is clearest at its NE corner, and while the basal boundary is characterized by a more compact, lighter clay loam, it may be partially aritrary, as Izzet later said he stopped after 5 cm uniformly across the cut.
