Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: burial; Deposition: homogeneous; Basal Spit: basal deposit

Discussion: The layer is the actual cut infill surrounding the skeleton. It was partly difficult to discern from the surrounding infills of possible/probable burials towards the NE and SW. The layer material seems to be partly mixed with plaster/”plasterish” material, which becomes very hard/compact after having been exposed to air for a short while.

The layer was removed by trowel and small wooden tools. Some of the fill may actually be left in the bottom of the cut, but because of new human remains (other individuals) are already visible and I do not want to expose these more than they already are as it will be some time before these are excavated, I have decided to rather leave some of the layer. HR-team seemed to think this was a good strategy.
