Unit 20923

Data Category Information: In Situ: in situ; Location: feature; Description: bin; Material: plaster; Deposition: homogeneous; Basal Spit: unpainted
Discussion: Walls around the fill U.20924
Walls are not very thick and goes deeper under the floor layer.
In SW corner there is a crack filled by something like makeup. It can indicate that W part was later than the other walls. But for me, more possible is that it's an attempt of repearing collapsing walls.
It's impossible to establish for now what is stratigraphicly above.
Not excavated in 2013.
Added 2014: After removing the walls to the level of the floor U30161, it was realized that each bin wall was constructed separately initially. Below they are: N wall U22129, W wall 22102 and S wall 22118. The separate walls became clear when a repair appeared in the NW corner beneath U 220923 (U22103).
