Discussion: This unit was initially thought to have been the infill of a post-neo burial. In the beginning of the GT1 excavations, the gray bricks of B.124 were thought to represent burial boundaries as their colour was very similar to the false bottom mud brick capped burials found in 2012. As GT1 was extended towards the NW, it became apparent that what we thought was a late burial was in fact a Neolithic building.
Its worth mentioning here that the primary reason we thought this initially belonged to a post-neolithic burial was due to the large number of late Roman / early Byzantine sherds found in the area.
Not excavated in 2013.
