Unit 20967
Category: Layer dug in 2013
Area: North
Interpretive Categories: fill of pit related to house closure, infill related to the posthole
Data Category Information: Location: cut; Description: posthole; Deposition: heterogeneous
Discussion: This unit was recognized through its texture, consistency and colour as a fill within the overall infill of B.119. It is most likely the fill of a pit opened either to retrieve post (which could be unlikely as the cut is not on the floor level, the mid section of small rooms rarely have posts related to them) or to retrieve some sort of an installation. The unit had an irregular basal boundary that consists of clay rich building materials.
