Discussion: The mortar appears consistent with the mortar in U. 21117. It seems thus probable that U.21117 and U.21118 belong to the same or to two related building events.

The consistency and texture of the layer change noticeably both in the southern and northern ends of the wall, where the mortar appears sandy and friable, unlike the central one which is much more firm and compact.
