Discussion: This unit was recognized by an outline in the existing ground. It was decided to section the area and excavate a portion of the unit. Excavaion continued until a floor layer was identified by a change in material colour and composition. The perimeter of the unit is of an irregular pattern, deliniated by a plaster layer, indicating an excavation of unknknown use. Comparison of the fill layer and the material of the adjacent platform (F.7317) show marked differences in both colour and texture, indicating the excavation being filled with imported material. Finds include bone, worked bone, and obsidian flecks.
