Discussion: This baby skeleton lies in the same cut (U.21769) as the skeleton of a juvenile (U.21776) next to it down south of the cut.
The skeleton of this neonate was buried in a depth of 23cm from the top of the cut, lying in the northwestern corner. It was facing south, while the other skeletons from the 2 burials next to it and also the skeleton of a juvenile found in the same grave were all facing east, towards the geometric wall painting of wall F.5014. It was hard to excavate it, as this baby skeleton was in a poor state of preservation.
