Discussion: Appeared neatly underneath U22239, along the F2014 wall and clearly visible in the corner of walls F2014 and F2016. The transition to underlying bin base U22241 was at times very vague, but in character still different; i.e. where this unit was firm, the U22241 was a bit more loose, with more silt than clay, and less burnt.

The unit was excavated with trowel.

Texture: Silty clay.
